If you love walking and learning, then this tour would suit you.

Starting from the V&A Waterfront we walk through trendy De Waterkant and colourful Bo-Kaap (Malay Quarter), before descending into the heart of the Cape Town’s historic Old Town. Enjoy lunch (for own account) in bustling Greenmarket Square or the tranquil Company’s Garden. In the afternoon we leave the city centre and make our way to the base of Table Mountain (Old Wash Houses) through the City Bowl suburbs or Gardens and Oranjezicht.

Along the route your Footsteps Guide will regale you with tales from the past, highlight of our architectural diversity and point out sites of historical interest. We discuss topics as varied as geology and geography, religion and race, food and fashion, heroes and villains (consider sleeping over at the end point, Wash Houses, Deer Park).
